    So I have a little tiny baby plant growing at the base of my large plant and it's only a year old. It hasn't produced a fruit or anything yet. Is something wrong or is this normal? It looks like it's coming from where the roots are maybe, I Like at the very base of the pineapple in the dirt.

    Hi Randy. So out of all the bananas that you grow, which is the most flavorful? I just bought one (Blue Java) today. How well do they grow in pots, and what size pot should I transplant it to? I was also wondering what months do they flower and harvest?

    • @Sheikyerbouti8
      @Sheikyerbouti8 Месяц назад

      The best tatsing banana that I've ever grown is Dwarf Namwa. Tiny fruits, but SO delicious. ABB bananas like blue java get rather large. They are not the best choices for container growing bananas. The pot size depends on the size and age of the plant you have. Eventually it will need a rather large container if you want fruit. I'd say 20 gallons minimum. I've never actually gotten any edible fruit from any of my container specimens, personally, but getting my container specimens to fruit is never my goal, either. Unfortunately, bananas do not have a season. They bloom whenever they feel ready to. Harvest is aproximately four months after blooming.

    How do I know if my banana tree is an ice cream banana or the other type? Is the ice cream tree typically taller? My tree is only about 6 feet tall

    • @Sheikyerbouti8
      @Sheikyerbouti8 Месяц назад

      There are literally thousands of banana cultivars, but you are probably referring to namwa. You have to get your stock from a trusted source. If it is a namwa instead of the true blue java/ice cream, then you will still have delicious bananas. More delicious in my opinion. Either way you win, Cheers

    • @Sheikyerbouti8

      The smell is pretty bad, but they only bloom once per year, the really pungent smell only lasts one day, and the flower only lasts three days. Mostly you'll just have a cool looking plant.

    All living beings are sentient because they can grow, reproduce, getting old, diseased and eventually die. Animals and plants can grow due to the present of the soul/living entity/living force (symptom of life/consciousness). When the last out-breath is materialise, we call it "dead" i.e the soul has left the body. This world is moving with all the activities is due to the present of the living entity ( the soul/consciousness). It is the soul that animate all our movements and activities - walking, talking, eating, sleeping, drawing.... Therefore majority of the faiths condemned killing or act of violence as these acts are against laws of nature/God's law. Thou shall not kill as in Christianity; Do not kill ss in the Buddhism first precept. Each living creature has a specific length of life, so if that life has been taken away unnecessary, the "Soul" will have to transmigrate into the womb of the mother through the semen of a father to complete the years/days in THAT same type of body to complete the remaining years/days in which HE/IT is entitled to. The "SOUL" and NOT the "MIND" is the symptom of life/consciousness. Many medical personalities have revealed these ..... #Near Death Experience -NDE #Dr Bruce Greyson NDE #Dr Pim Van Lommel NDE #Dr Eben Alexander NDE When the "Soul" was out of his physical body, he was conscious of what was going on around his Unconscious Physical Body. When the individual soul enter into the womb of a mother through the semen of a father, we call BIRTH. The embryo/seedings(plant) grows moment to moment due to the present of the living force (soul). Each individual atomic soul is unique. The soul is spiritual unlike the physical body. The soul cannot be killed by fire, heat, any types of weapon, cut into pieces, drown in water, lethal injection, hanging..... By understanding this, we understand everything we have read or heard better. In the material world when ever there is an action/work/activity there is a counter-action/reaction/consequence. This is nature law of cause and effect. Great man always follow this law. Anyone who like great literatures (with moral values and understanding our human condition/struggling) written by great writers.... #Leo Tolstoy (1828-1910) #Leo Tolstoy @fiction beast #Leo Tolstoy @neuralsurfer Hope these will shape us into a better human beings.
